4): Unique Content
5): Time
We just need your attention and in one hour you will have your own live blog. What we are going to cover in this tutorial:
Niche Selection:
Niche selection is an important part of running a successful blog. Most people do not select the right niche according to their interests. First, look at yourself. Think about what topics you are good at. What is your interest? See on google trends that whether people are searching about what you want to write. Select the most in-demand and relevant niche to your blog.
After selecting your niche you should have few contents to upload on your blog, 4 to 8 articles, and then a minimum of 1 article per day at the start. Before writing articles, competitor research is most important. Search on google how people are writing. What’s the tone in writing a blog?
After selecting a niche you should also analyze how much traffic the blog has. When they upload their post and how many articles they post on their blog. Also, check words count per article and pick up one competitor. You can choose more than one competitor also. You should also analyze blog SEO conditions. The tool used for competitor analysis is the Ubersuggest chrome extension. After Analyzing their content, do competitors’ keywords analysis and pick up such keywords that are less in competition and high in demand. To learn the whole process we have written a blog post on “How to do competitor analysis before starting a new blog.” In that blog, we have briefly discussed practically the whole process which is discussed theoretically above. The basic purpose is to familiarize you with the tools used for analysis.
Domain and Hosting Selection:
After the process of selecting a niche and competitor analysis, the next step is to buy a domain and hosting. There are many platforms such as Bluehost and GoDaddy but we are going to introduce you to a new hosting that is cheap, beginners friendly and moreover you can pay for them on a monthly basis. As I am writing this for beginners, I will suggest such a hosting that gives technical support 24 hours a day. If you are facing any technical problem in your website, you can get a free solution from the hosting provider.
They will create your ticket and then solve your problem as soon as possible. They don’t mind how the problems your website has, You have to just clearly mention the error. The name of the hosting is Inter Server. You can choose hostinger, Bluehost, GoDaddy, HostGator, and any of the hosting which you find affordable for your blog. All are the best hosting providers. In this topic we covered just one hosting provider in the next posts, we will discuss them, one by one.
Let see how to purchase a domain and hosting from InterServer.
First of all, go to the website from the given link above. Then on the homepage, there will be an option to buy hosting for 2.5$ per month. Now Click on that and a new window will open, put the name of the domain you want to buy, and click on continue to buy. Then a new window will appear, just press continue, if your given domain is available then you can proceed further, otherwise you have to choose another. Make sure your domain name is small and has a keyword in it. If there is no keyword do not worry, it’s alright. After this, a signup form will appear, fill the form and remember your password. Then fill the next form about your address. Then choose one plan of your choice and attach the payment method available there.
After buying the domain and hosting, log in to your dashboard again.

A category is your niche topic. For example, if you want to write about Fitness, When you write an article about fitness, you have to add it to a specific folder so you need to make a category and add it to the menu. If you are writing about Health, Fitness, Technology, etc these are your three categories, and whenever you write a post you have to mention in what category your post lies. It’s an easier way for users to find out the desired article on your blog.
